How CE Works
Continuing education, start to finish — with none of the mystery.
1. Select your state
Insurance CE is regulated state by state. Start by telling us where you’re licensed so we can show the requirements and courses that apply to you.
2. Review your requirements
See your state’s CE hours, ethics requirement, renewal cycle, and any special rules — all in one place, with a link to the official regulator.
3. Choose an approved course
Pick the CE you need by line of authority — Ethics, Life, Property & Casualty, Accident & Health, and more. Each course lists its focus and price up front. Confirm the course is approved for your state and license before you buy.
4. Complete the course and assessments
Everything is online and available 24/7 on your laptop, tablet, or phone. Work at your own pace, pause anytime, and pick up right where you left off. Meet the course’s completion requirements, including any required assessments.
5. Download your certificate
As soon as you finish, your completion certificate is available to download instantly. Keep it for your records.
6. We report your eligible credit
Course completion earns CE credit. Where reporting applies, we report your eligible credit through approved channels. Completing CE does not by itself renew your license — that’s a separate step you complete with your state.
7. Verify your state transcript
Confirm the credit appears on your CE record with your state Department of Insurance. This gives you certainty that your hours are on file before you renew.
8. Renew your license with the regulator
Complete your license renewal and pay any state fee directly with your state Department of Insurance. Your CE completion supports the renewal — it doesn’t replace it.
